HOW CAN YOU COME HERE?

BY CAR

you will come to the parking place next to the village, approximately 150m away from the Castle. You have to pay car-parking fee during the summer season.

 

BY BUS

Bus connection is on the traffic route Praha - Sušice, or Strakonice - Sušice, bus station is directly on the square of the village Rabí. You can find your connection on the

BY TRAIN

If you want to go by train, you should get off in the railway station Žichovice (on the railway Horažďovice předměstí - Klatovy). You can go to the Castle either along the road (3 km - 1,86mi, approx. 45minutes, the yellow tourist mark) or you can use the pathway (2 km - 1,24mi, approx. 30min). This footpath is leading across the rails and down the river, and then over the weir to the steel bridge and behind the bridge you must follow the yellow tourist mark, which will lead you to the Castle. Please note, that sometimes (after or during rainfall), the water may flow over the weir.

BY BICYCLE

The bike path 2084^th leads to the Castle. You can leave your bicycles in the larking stands on the parking lot nearby the municipal fountain or in front of the hotel Atawa - but they have to be locked.

BY CANOE OR RAFT

You can canoe or raft on the river Otava from the town Sušice. You can leave your canoes or rafts by the bridge between Žichovice - Rabí.
